The Venue:
Museum of the Home

The Museum of the Home is a collection of 18th-century Grade I-listed former almshouses on Kingsland Road, Shoreditch. Having reopened the venue in Summer 2021, the buildings are an iconic part of London and offers The Freelancer Awards a fantastic venue for our new Summer event.

The Kingsland Lawn is a truly unique outdoor space in the city used in film and television from RocknRolla by Guy Ritchie to BBC Newsnight and Antiques Roadshow.

The Host:
Maisie Adam

Sweet FA/22 is excited to announce Maisie Adam as our host for this years event. Maisie's anecdotal material and witty charm have quickly won her praise up and down the country and she has since appeared on Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, QI, Roast Battle, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Hypothetical and The Stand-Up Sketch Show.

The Theme:
Once Upon a Time in Tarantino

After two years of virtual Sweet FAs, it's time to return to our natural format - an in-person, themed event where freelancers can properly let their hair down. And what better theme to shake off the last couple of years than from the rich catalogue of characters from the mind of Quentin Tarantino!
